The Bednar for us has changed the way we farm, it has changed the way we do tillage, it’s changed everything I was taught about tillage or no-till for that matter! Overall the machine is top notch, it's built heavy, and it was built to last. We had extremely heavy residue for the 2024 crop year that frankly made everyone nervous, but the Swifterdisc ate right through the middle of it and left us with essentially a one-pass tillage program that, if needed, we can plant directly into. We have spent a lot of time over my life and my father’s life trying different tillage programs and even no-till, and none of them seemed to work quite as well as this one. The Bednar Swifterdisc high-speed harrow is an excellent implement for our organic vegetable farm. It's an ideal tillage tool for incorporating cover crops, primary tillage, secondary tillage, and leveling post-production crop-raised beds. It pulls with ease at 6–9.5 mph working speed, and the hydraulic depth control allows on-the-fly depth adjustment to achieve perfect results. The machine is built very solid and shows great attention to detail in design, engineering, and manufacturing. The Swifterdisc does it all!
